The analytical chemist will work with our senior analytical chemist and interdisciplinary product development team to analyze the molecular profile of wines for the purpose of reconstruction and flavor development/optimization. The primary focus will be on protocol development, mass spectrometry data analysis, and management of analytical chemistry equipment and techniques. However, as we are a startup, responsibilities can vary greatly on a daily basis. Start date ASAP.
What we’re looking for
-M.S. or higher in an analytical chemistry field is required with a strong background in chromatography (preferably gas) and mass spectrometry techniques. Preference will be given towards candidates with food, flavor, and fragrance experience. A solid understanding of organic chemistry is also a big plus.
